New Disney movie
Anaheim, CA -- Disney has announced that after filming for High School Musical 3: Senior Year wraps later this month, it will begin production on the latest installment of its successful series of movie musicals: Grad School Musical. Grad School Musical will tell the story of two graduate students in the English department of a Research 1 university who lock horns over the school's single humanities fellowship. Timmy, who studies soap opera pedagogy, and Tina, who studies Victorian novels, are on opposing teams in the department's annual Theoryathon competition, but soon begin a secret romance and realize that their love means more than any $30,000 fellowship ever could. Meanwhile, their friends question the ethics of Timmy and Tina's refusal to acknowledge their romance's debt to West Side Story, let alone Romeo and Juliet in a song called "Even Shakespeare Plagiarized (The Ethics Two-Step)." Though the team of writers behind Grad School Musical say that they had quite a bit of difficulty finding kid-friendly words that rhyme with the last names of French and German philosophers, they look forward to finding a brand-new audience with this new project.
